Delicious tangy and sweet zing…
You can use this chili lime vinaigrette for a simple green salad, but don’t stop there. It works just as well as a steak marinade, or drizzle it over fresh fish for a delicious tangy and sweet zing.
The current amount of crushed red pepper provides a decent amount of heat, but feel free to increase (or decrease) the amount based on your spicy food tolerance.
Chili Lime Vinaigrette
Ingredients
- 1 cup lime juice
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic minced
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl until smooth, cover, and refrigerate. Allow the vinaigrette's ingredients to meld overnight (6 to 8 hours) prior to serving.
