Based on chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, it adds in earthy and even lemony undertones with the additions of coriander and thyme. It’s very versatile – use chipotle paste as a marinade for steak, chicken, and pork, or add it into a vinaigrette to add some heat to a salad. Chipotle Paste Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 can chipotle peppers in adobo sauce approximately 7 ounces
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 tablespoons corn oil
- 1 tablespoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor and pulse blend for 1 minute, or until you reach your desired consistency.
