Ingredients

  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 habanero pepper seeds in, finely pureed or minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine the ranch dressing, half the habanero puree, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix thoroughly.
  • Taste the ranch sauce. If more heat is needed, mix in the remaining habanero puree in small portions until you reach your desired spiciness.
  • Chill for 30 minutes if you have time, then serve.

Notes

Wear gloves when you handle the habanero, or wash your hands well right after.
For a milder sauce, scrape out the habanero’s seeds and pale ribs before pureeing it.
Bottled ranch is already salty, so taste before adding the full 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
