A simple hummus recipe, with spice rack heat

- 1 can chickpeas 15 oz, rinsed
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/2 cup water use only the amount needed for your preferred consistency
- Salt to taste
- Extra virgin olive oil optional (to add to top)
Place all ingredients into a food processor and process until smooth.
Slowly add in water and continue to blend until the hummus hits the perfect consistency for you.
Top the hummus with extra virgin olive oil (optional).
